Friday mornings from 9 to 11, September-June, our church is open as a drop-in for neighbourhood friends and congregation members. Coffee, tea, snacks, games, and conversation are all free.
Coffee Break is a church-based, community-oriented small group Bible study open to all women. Its primary goal is to invite women into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to nurture their faith in Him. No previous Bible knowledge is required.
Coffee Break is held on Tuesday mornings from September to April/May.
Each week begins with social time and singing, after which the group breaks up into smaller discussion groups for Bible study, encouragement and personal sharing, and prayer.
Other activities held throughout the season include potluck lunches, speakers, summer socials, etc.
Every Friday during the month of July, church members and community members meet over a meal on the front lawn of the church. This time of fellowship and conversation allows all the neighbours and Living Hope members to get to know one another better.
Living Hope Church has a delightful and very popular Little Free Library (LFL) located on the front lawn of the church, just steps from the street. It’s a great place for our neighbours to take or share a book and meet other neighbours. Quality books and reading material are offered for all ages. At the top of the LFL there is a small “prayer loft,” where patrons may leave a confidential note or prayer request. There is also a bench close by where one can rest and read.
Our LFL is registered with littlefreelibrary.org (charter #140685) and joins 175,000+ LFLs in 121 countries around the world.
